School board members, administrators, teachers and staff are facing difficult challenges today in working creatively with destructive behavior and shrinking budgets.

This exciting one-day conference will present three innovative and powerful intervention approaches that have been proven successful in mitigating destructive behaviors and dealing with differences among negotiating partners. These approaches offer new methods to effectively address the needs and interests of all parties involved in these issues, consider the impact to the larger community, minimize impacts to relationships and encourage the social and emotional learning that can result from productive interactions.

Through this conference:

  • Participants will gain new insights and perspectives on alternatives and resources available to meeting these significant challenges faced in their work.
  • Participants will walk away with a clear understanding of these approaches, how they differ from traditional approaches, and the expected impact on school climate and members.
