Effective communication is viewed as an essential life skill that people must possess in order to be successful in today’s society. Anyone can learn how to deliver effective speeches for a variety of audiences.

Learn how to organize and craft an effective speech while leaving your audience with a lasting impression. Learn how to redirect nervosity into positive energy for a dynamic speech delivery!

Drawing from communication, psychology, business, and theatre, the instructor will teach workshop participants valuable public speaking principles. This workshop is designed to make participants competent communicators across public settings.

This workshop will cover the following topics:
  • Understanding anxiety and learning relaxation techniques
  • Being an audience-centered speaker
  • Building credibility and rapport with the audience
  • Learning how to construct speeches
  • Constructing and displaying visual aids
