| Each new student is assigned a faculty advisor. The faculty advisor is an important resource. You should meet with your advisor periodically. Your faculty advisor is a valuable mentor for your professional development. If you have questions, frustrations, or constructive concerns regarding a classroom experience or the program in general, talk with your advisor. The advisor will protect your anonymity if you prefer, but will bring your concerns to a general meeting of the faculty as a whole. For doctoral students, once you enter dissertation, your committee Chair automatically becomes your advisor. |
