represent an excellent way to make a current gift, but can
also be used to make a gift that will benefit the School in
the future. Included among the vehicles available for offering
such gifts are:

- Charitable Lead Trusts
- Gifts of Life Insurance
- Gifts of Real Estate
- Gifts of Personal Property
- Gifts of Retirement Plan Assets
Alumni and friends of SHSS have available to them a myriad
of opportunities to make annual gifts in support of its mission
and priorities. SHSS Dean's Fund is an undesignated fund that
provides the dean with restricted gifts to the schools’
departments and programs enable department heads or program
directors the flexibility to meet their respective academic
priorities.

Private financial assistance comes to the NSU Graduate School
of Humanities and Social Sciences in many ways and from many
friends and supporters. Donors may direct gifts to a priority
of the school, department, or program of their choice. Gifts
may be designated for operating support or for an endowment.
Unrestricted gifts allow the university to determine where
their generosity can do the most good.
